Phogat, a two-time Commonwealth Games champion, is one of India's top medal hopes in wrestling at the Olympics. She is ranked No. 2 in the world in her weight class and has been in good form in the lead-up to the Games. She won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships and a gold medal at the 2023 Asian Championships.
Phogat's quarterfinal opponent, Livach, is a two-time European champion and is ranked No. 4 in the world. She will be a tough test for Phogat, but the Indian will be confident of her chances of reaching the semifinals.
